Come to Jesus Christ. He is the living stone that people have rejected, but which God has chosen and highly honored. And now you are living stones that are being used to build a spiritual house. 1 Peter 2:4-5 (CEV)
This weekend Mama Shari will lead us as we look at the lives of Biblical women to both challenge and encourage us in our lives today. We will take time for large group, small group, and personal reflection as we experience God’s pleasure and see our place in God’s plan. We will begin on Friday evening at 6:30pm and complete our time together on Saturday at 6:30pm. Click on the two attachments for more details.
This weekend, C.S. Lewis will be our guide into some difficult matters of the Bible and our faith. Come and explore with Edith the Heights and Depths of C.S. Lewis in selections from The Silver Chair, Abolition of Man, The Great Divorce and Perelandra. Thus we will draw closer to the One who id the Way, the Truth, and the Life. OUr discussions will be punctuated and contextualized by worship, singing, and times for small group and personal prayer.
“What Wondrous Love is This?”, is the theme of a Quiet Day to be held January 14, 2017. This Quiet Day is a gift to the women of the diocese, from Women Alive in Christ, free of charge and will include lunch. It will be gently lead by Cindy Thomas, but the day is for you to listen, pray, read, and just be still and know.
All Saints Anglican Church in Rosedale, has graciously agree to host us on that day, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
